You can bet, a sure thing, that those who profess to be politically independent most likely didn’t and don’t vote. When having a discourse in political current events, the independent will blankly stare into space and declare that they are independent. The fact is all who vote are individuals that cast a single vote each. To claim you are an independent is both intellectually dishonest and cowardly. When the current government is overtly overthrowing the U.S. constitution and taking away the rights of the citizens, only a coward would not stand up and fight this tyrannical regime, known as the Obama administration.
What about those who claim to be independent and did vote? It is a certainty that they voted democrat. Here is the other side of claiming to be independent, they are dishonest. Why would they lie about their convictions? That brings up point one, they’re cowards. The constituents that put the current president in office are a bunch of dishonest cowards and played a role in the destruction of a free society. To identify yourself as an independent is to identify yourself as a person with a lack of conviction.
The United States is in a critical state. We need citizens, first of all, who know what the definition of citizen is. This takes on many forms, depending on what historical reference or philosophy is being used. The ideal of the Declaration of the United States and the U.S. Constitution defines the citizen as a free person, with certain unalienable rights endowed by a creator. The idea that mankind should be tyrannized by a few, is not who the U.S. citizen is.
Before you hide your head in the sand or run away from your duties as a U.S. citizen, make up your mind. Are you a citizen of the United States of America, or are you independent? We need more real Americans. We need to retain our rights as a free people. We need to be Americans.
